Network Topology

Network

network is a collection of computers, servers, mainframes, network devices, peripherals,or the other devices connected through one another allow the sharing of data.

An excellent example of a network is the Internet, which connects millions of people all over the Earth.

Topology

Topology refer to the interconnected pattern of network elements. A topology may be physical, mapping hardware configuration, or logical, mapping the path that the data must take in order to travel around the network.

Network Topology

A network topology is the arrangement of a network, including its nodes and connecting lines.

The term network topology describes the relationship of connected devices in terms of a geometric graph.

There are five type of topology which are being given below:

NOTE:-The first-ever computer-to-computer link was established on ARPANET    (Advanced Research Projects Agency Network), on October 29, 1969.
