Hybrid Topology
Hybrid topology is a specific kind of network topology in which all of the various devices in the network are connected. It is a mixture of two or more topology.
In the above given picture there use bus and star topology.
for an example if you are in school/college we use bus topology while when we are in the house we use star topology and both the the topology are interconnected.
- It is a combination of more than one topology.
- It will include and exclude the Advantages and Disadvantages of topologies.
Advantages of Hybrid Topology:
- Reliable as easy detecting of problems
- Troubleshooting is easy.
- It include both wire and wire less networks.
- It will be expandable
- Flexible in use.
Disadvantages of Hybrid Topology:
- It is difficult to design and understands.
- The cost of this network design is high,
- It requires of a lot of cables, cooling systems, etc.
- Multi-station access Unit is required.
