Basic operations performed by any computer System

In the many years of development of computer the size, speed, shape, performance ,reliability and cost of computer were being changed but structure(based on the stored program concept),as proposed by Von Neumann has not changed. There is no matter what the shape, size of computer we are talking about, every computer system perform the 5 basic operations of converting our raw data to the useful information and presenting it to a user.

1} Input: Entering of data and instructions into a computer system.
2} Storing: Saving of data and instructions to make available when it being required for further processing.
3} Processing: Performing operation like addition, subtraction, multiplication, Divide, Mod, equal, less, greater, etc. to convert useful information.
4} Output: After processing of data to produce it into the printed or hardcopy of any information for user to easily movable.
5} Controlling: Directing the manner and sequence in which the operations are being performed.
